The NHS Health Check is a health check-up for adults in England aged 40-74. It's designed to spot early signs of stroke, kidney disease, heart disease, type 2 diabetes or dementia.  As we get older, we have a higher risk of developing one of these conditions.  An NHS health check helps find ways to lower this risk, helping you stay healthy.

This check is part of a national scheme to help prevent the onset of these health problems.  Everyone between the ages of 40 and 74 who has not been diagnosed with the conditions mentioned will be invited for a check once every five years, please follow the instructions on the invite to book including the details of where the health check will take place.  You can also find further information on the link below.
