Thank You to Patients for Sharing Their Views in the 2026 GP Patient Survey
Southport and Formby Primary Care Network (PCN) would like to thank the 1,522 local patients who took part in the 2026 GP Patient Survey.
The survey provides valuable feedback about patients' experiences of GP services and helps practices understand what they are doing well and where improvements can be made.
We're pleased to see positive results across a number of key areas:
82% of patients rated their overall GP practice experience as good.
76% reported a positive experience when contacting their practice.
94% said they felt confident in and trusted the healthcare professional they saw.
These results reflect the hard work and dedication of our teams across Southport and Formby, who are committed to providing high-quality care and support to local communities every day.
Most importantly, they reflect the voices of our patients. Every response helps practices better understand patients' experiences and identify opportunities to improve services in the future.
We would like to thank everyone who completed the survey and shared their feedback. We are also incredibly grateful to our GPs, reception teams, nurses, pharmacists, healthcare assistants and all practice staff for their continued commitment to delivering care for our communities.
